Magic flows in their blood and taints that of the humans. Most wolves are happy to live apart as packs, united in their existence, shunning humans and other shifters alike. But not all wolves are like this. Some seek out others. Some live not in packs but in havens where all shifters and even humans are welcomed in friendship.

What happens when a wolf pack is not just a pack but a family? Meet the Volk family, their uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. They have refused to be part of packs, preferring to live among humans, but the bigger they grow, the more they need to establish a pack of their own. But they choose to establish instead a haven where all shifters and humans are welcome, a place apart from the world, yet still part of it. A place where all shifters can live in peace. Or at least that is the plan…
